Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Keep your notebook cool! This Executive cooling pad for notebooks features three built-in 60 mm fans for easy thermal heat dissipation, keeping your notebook from getting too hot. Simply plug into your USB port! It's great for laptop users. Keeping your laptop cool can prevent all sorts of undesired symptoms caused by overheating, for example, locked or hung programs. It can be used either as a buffer for mobile users to isolate the hot bottom of laptop from your lap or keep your laptop cool if it is used as your main computer sitting on a desk running most of the day.3 fans once turned on will quietly whir the heat away from your laptop at a rate of 3000 RPM, producing 30 CFM of airflow. Hot air is sucked in from the bottom of the laptop and exhausted through the opening on the rear.

5 out of 5 stars very good laptop cooler   September 29, 2008
Ol' Nite Hawk (LA, (no, not L.A. California))
this cooler is very quiet, and cools my older laptop which builds up even more heat that the newer ones I have. It's a really good product.

3 out of 5 stars Quiet   November 10, 2006

Little too small for my 15.4 laptop. The back Bumpers sit on my CPU fan. If I shift it around it still keeps things cooler than without it though.

The 3 fan is quieter than my laptop fan. Other than that the plastic case is very cheap and could break easily. If the plastic is more durable I would difinetly give it 5 stars.

1 out of 5 stars Horrible third rate garbage!   May 26, 2006

DO not buy this product. This is the worst thing to come out of China yet! I am not sure where to start shedding light on this waste of money. Okay, I will try. 1) Made of light weight cheap plastic. I would be okay with it if it were made with a heavier grade plastic bu that is not the reality. The plastic is so cheap that the unit can easily be bent. Additionally, when bent even the slightest bit, the fans start rubbing on the horrible excuse for plastic. 2) Little air flow. The amount of air flow through this unit is almost impercievable. 3) Cheap construction. The unit is made up of an upper and lower plastic cover held together by 10 plastic screws. Between these covers, the 3 fans can be found. The fans are the lowest quality fans I have seen. Also inside, the power distribution board which has the 3 LEDS and the power speed switch. The circuit board is nothing more than a 1 inch silicon board with a resistor. Mounted on this board are the LEDS and a rediculously cheap switch which is certainly bound for near term failure. The power connection is laughable. When I removed it from the panel, the solder connection instantly snapped. I actually took the time to resolder and completley reassemble this nightmare for one reason. To return it? Oh no! To use it? HAHAHAH. No my friends....TO SMASH IT! It is unusable and I would not want to return it so that some other unlucky rube has to deal with it. So, complete destruction was the key! Ohh....do not buy the Targas version. It is the exat same thing that has just been rebranded. I will definitly recomment any of the Antek coolers. Sturdey construction and good performance. I should know. i just bought one and I can tell you it wont be meeting the same gloomy fate as the previously mentioned piece of dung.
