My HP transformer finally went after two and a half years of faithful service. This item is not an OEM replacement; it is significantly lighter and the input voltage range is 100-240V~2.0A. The item appears to be working fine at the moment, but I'll have to see whether or not it charges my high capacity battery like my previous OEM transformer.

My HP power strip went out, and I went into full blown panic! My life, was over! I don't trust too many people, and things off of the internet. So...when I contacted HP and they told me that I was going to have to pay WELL over $100 for a new one, and that the expected life of these was only 2 years, I was "upset"! Our tech guy convinced me to get this one, and to trust that it was just as good...and I did. THANK goodness! Saved me SO much money. Works great. Now, in 2 years, if it goes out...SO WHAT! Still saved me money! So go ahead, relax, and save your money!!!
